Another big hit from TAS2023 was the unveiling of Veilside’s take on Nissan’s latest Z-car, dubbed the FFZ400 (with the “FF” nomenclature no doubt taken from “Fast and Furious”), Veilside’s latest build was again, another massive crowd puller.
Also called, “Han’s 400Z”, this orange number was created in collaboration with Sung Kang and is also set to star in the franchise’s latest movie. Hopefully, it won’t be ejected into space or into the Sun or some other other-worldly plot-line.
Back on earth in the halls of Makuhari Messe, the FFZ400’s orange and black hues are easily recognisable for fans of Han’s Veilside Fortune RX-7 and it even runs the same VS Andrew wheels as the FD.
That’s where the similarities end though because Veilside has taken a slightly different direction with regard to the car’s styling, focusing on accentuating the original car’s curves and lines instead of crafting an entirely new shape.
With no word yet on power upgrades, we’re pretty sure Veilside has some future plans for their latest icon. Catch it on the big screen soon.
